Serkan Ertugay, MD

Dr. Serkan Ertugay (born in 1981) is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He specializes in minimally invasive and endoscopic mitral valve surgery, with a particular focus on the treatment of mitral valve diseases. Dr. Ertugay completed his cardiovascular surgery specialization in 2010 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018.

In addition to his clinical expertise, he is proficient in both English and French. He has served as an Editorial Board Member for the Turkish Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (TJTCVS) and currently holds a position as a Board Member of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (TKDCD).
Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing less invasive surgical techniques, improving patient outcomes, and contributing to the scientific development of mitral valve therapies.
