I am a consultant cardiac surgeon with over a decade of experience in the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, with a specialized focus on Endoscopic Cardiac Surgery (ECS). I completed my M.Ch in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Medical College, Kolkata in 2013 and have since performed thousands of cardiac surgeries, currently averaging 60–70 cases per month, including 10 ECS cases monthly.

My passion lies in advancing minimally invasive techniques. I received international exposure through an observership at NUHS, Singapore, and regularly participate in global ECS meetings, including the ECS Club Annual Meeting in Thessaloniki (2024). I have led institutional efforts to develop advanced cardiac surgery units incorporating endoscopic and robotic platforms.

I am actively involved in academic training, having served as a faculty member for the DNB CVTS program at Medica Superspecialty Hospital and currently organizing India’s first wet lab-based ECS workshop. My research interests include off-pump CABG (PROMOTE trial) and innovations in minimally invasive valve surgery.

As a strong advocate of ECS in India, I look forward to collaborating with the ECS Club to promote education, innovation, and global standards in endoscopic cardiac surgery.
