Emilija Petrovic, MD

Born in 1983 in Serbia. Graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade with excellent results. I completed mu specialization in cardiac surgery at the University Clinical Center of Serbia, Cardiac surgery department, where I have been employed sunce 2015. I independetly perform about 100 open-heart surgery(Ćoro art surgery, AVR, MVR, aortic surgery…) and about 50 minimally invasive cardiosurgical procedures(ministernotomy AVR, direct vision and video assisted MVR, MIDCAB). In April 2024, as a fellow of the ECS Club, I atttended training in endoscopic cardiac surgery at the Interbalkan Medical Center in Thessaloniki, Greece, under the mentorship of Dr Antonios Pitsis. Since February 2025, I have been employed in the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki, Greece.
