Masroor Alam, MD, MPH, FASA

Masroor Alam, M.D., is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He has been a staff anesthesiologist at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Northern Kentucky since 2000. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Anesthesiology and currently serves as the Chairman of Cardiac Anesthesia. Dr. Alam completed his medical degree at Dow Medical College, and his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He is board-certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, and Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and is a Fellow of American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Throughout his career, Dr. Alam has held leadership roles including President of the Kentucky Society of Anesthesiologists and the Greater Cincinnati Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Alam holds a Master’s in Public Health in Health Administration from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Certificate of Business Administration from the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He is passionate about providing excellent patient care, advancing medical education, and supporting professional development in anesthesiology.
